DESCRIPTION:First Selectman Mike Tetreau announced today that the Town of Fairfield and the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will co-sponsor the 6th Annual Fairfield Holiday Shop & Stroll on Thursday\, December 6\, 2018.\n\nParticipating shops will stay open late and will offer an assortment of hors d'oeuvres and seasonal refreshments. Traveling carolers and musicians from local schools will fill the air with holiday cheer\, and local restaurants will be offering dinner or drink specials.\n\n\n\n"This is a great opportunity to support our local businesses and get your holiday shopping done while enjoying a fun night out with family or friends\," said First Selectman Tetreau. \n\n\n\nChamber of Commerce President Beverly Balaz added\, "The Chamber of Commerce is happy to be partnering with the Town on this festive event as it will give our businesses another opportunity to open their doors to the community\, meet new customers from surrounding towns and\, together\, help celebrate the holiday season with a wonderful shopping experience!" \n\n\n\nRetailers or organizations that wish to participate in the Holiday Shop & Stroll event should contact Community and Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart at (203) 256-3120 by Friday\, November 23\, 2018. \n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for our annual Holiday Shop & Stroll on Thursday\, December 6th! This year we're partnering with Fairfield Moms to make it a night you won't want to miss! The evening will kick off with Happy Hour from 4-6pm at The Chelsea\, where we'll have special discounts on food & drinks\, giveaways\, shopping promotions and free Shop Fairfield tote bags. Shop your favorite downtown shops from 6-9pm\, and then end the night at a festive after-party at 55 Wine Bar where they will have extended happy hour deals while you enjoy music and have your gifts wrapped!
